The son of an anesthesiologist practicing in Miami, Florida, Zach has always had a passion for healthcare. While shadowing his father in his office and operating rooms as a teenager, Zach developed an early appreciation for the complexities of the systems and organizations underlying the industry. Zach later graduated with a B.S. in Economics from Duke University and an M.B.A. in Health Care Management from The Wharton School.
Zach followed his early passions and began his career in the global healthcare investment banking group of Jefferies LLC. He then spent three years with AlpInvest Partners’ Co-Investment group focused on direct private equity and mezzanine investing. Zach also worked with Axia Women’s Health, a leading OB/GYN practice management company helping implement a variety of strategic initiatives. Zach joins Zenyth with a unique and diversified perspective on investing and the healthcare industry.
In his spare time, Zach enjoys traveling and has visited all seven continents. Zach was also an avid water polo player, anchoring both his high school and college teams as goalie. Zach never begins his day without meditating and is passionate about his family life, especially his three brothers who his step-mom dubs the “all-male Brady Bunch.”
